I was in Joann's (which is dangerous!) and saw that they have this "style in an instant" material. I decided to give it a try.
I'm absolutely in love with both fabrics. I made the shorter one into it's dress already. Basically, you measure your chest, cut the fabric 2" smaller (so it stays up and all), and sew your seam. Magically (and with one seam), you have a dress! I put it through the washer & it looks great!
I still need to do the longer one, but I'm waiting until later this summer.

Road to Camp Quilt
Since I finished my camping quilt (which went to the trailer last weekend), I figured I should start on my husband's. He's been pretty indifferent about the fabrics and pattern I use for his. He just asked that it not be "girlie". I'll do my best.
I'm really happy with how it turned out!
With that, I decided to give this pattern a try: http://www.cluckclucksew.com/2010/07/tutorial-road-trip-quilt.html with a couple of changes. His needs to be wider & longer than the pattern there, so I'll be adding on to it.
I'm really happy with how it turned out!
