Placemats

I saw these placemats on Etsy & knew they were perfect for camping. I was hoping to find something with a way to keep a napkin in one place when it's outside. So, I bought the $4 pattern and got to work.

I'm making another set that's a little wider for bigger plates. I'll post those when I get them done.

Just For You/Sew She Can - April project

I've been meaning to complete April's "Just For You" project - the Faux Wrap Skirt. I bought a few fabrics when we went to Singapore & decided that this project was perfect for the knit fabric I bought there.

I took the afternoon & got to work. I have to say that this project went really quickly! I even got to use the double needle I bought (which I did buy just for this project). I enjoyed making this one & will probably make more of these over time.
