Carrie's Quilt

My dear friend Carrie's mom passed away recently. I was gifted with some beautiful quilt squares she put together. Carrie wasn't sure when her mom had worked on the squares, so we're not sure of the date of them. It took me over a year to actually work on this quilt because I was terrified of messing up something so precious.

Carrie had no idea I was working on it - or that it would be gifted back to her. She was so surprised & happy when I gave it to her. I'm thankful I didn't screw it up!

Mom's Quilt - Night and Day

My mom wanted a quilt as her Thanksmas present, so I made that happen. It was a CRAZY amount of cutting - over 700 pieces. Definitely a labor of love. I was really happy with the finished product, as was she!

Here's the link to the pattern I based this off of: Night and Day
