Jelly Roll Race Quilt: http://weefolkart.com/jelly-roll-race-quilt-directions-notes/
Fabric: <pink & blue jelly roll>
I had seen a few tutorials on the Jelly Roll Race Quilt & decided I wanted to give it a try. I had several jelly rolls in my stash, so off to the machine I went! I posted on my Facebook page that the quilt didn't have a designated home and got a few responses of people who may like it. I ended up finishing this quilt for a triathlon friend. I was so glad it ended up with a good home!

Camping Vinyl
After the success of my first project, I decided to try vinyl. I picked a camping related project. Winterization blues and all. I decided not to worry about doing multi-colored applications on the first go around.

First Cricut Project - Smile Card
I've been looking at the Cricut for a while and couldn't decide whether or not to get one. Jon decided he was going to take the decision from me & get it for me for Christmas and as an anniversary present. So, I got to welcome the Cricut Maker to my craft room!
The initial project it came with to do was a card. It was super simple & made me instantly fall in love with the Cricut & the ability to do things on my own.

Quilt for the Brave - Marquee
Pattern: Marquee from a quilting book
Fabrics: 26 fat quarters from various places, gray fabric from Joann's, layer cakes for the backing
This quilt took almost 2 years from start to finish. A bunch of other projects took priority and since this was for the Brave (camper), I just kept putting it off. I finally finished it and got it on the bed in the Brave. Whew!
